Tuesday 20 march which is almost a month ago, Thirty Seconds to Mars was here in Holland! Live in the Ziggo Dome Amsterdam and of course I had to be there, their my favorite band! This was my second time around that I saw them but this time it was so much better! I went together with my best friend and we stood so close to the stage, it was amazing! I couldn't believe it at first because we were standing in the last row outside the building and when we where inside, I bought a necklace (see photo) after that we went into the concert room. So I don't really understand how we came so close to the stage but we were thrilled! The first time around I could barely see them and now I could see Jared from up close together with Shannon who they put on the middle of the stage, it was amazing, we could see their faces and pretty much everything they did... Although it was kinda disappointing standing so close to them now when one of them was missing because of private reasons. Tomo the Echelon misses you and we hope everything's well!
I have to admit we needed to wait for a long time before Mars finally came. The for program sucked! And because of that we were bored as hell and the time went so slow. I looked every 5 minutes on my phone and hoped more time was passed but sadly, no. The for program in 2013 was You Me At Six, this band was pretty good and you had something to look at. This time they only played music because the support DJ witch was their for program stood in the hallway when you walked into the building. It was better if they put him on the stage so you had something to watch, anyway I also understand why it wasn't possible. The stage was different this time (see photo) so if he stood there on the stage, no one could have seen him.
This was the stage and in the beginning it was all down so kinda like a big square block. PS: Not my picture, mine was to dark to tell. Credits to the owner.

Monolith was their intro witch is one of their new songs from the new album. The stage went up and there they were! After the intro was ended, Up in The Air begon the play and everyone jumped when Jared told too. Then Kings and Queens began and was followed by This is War witch is one of my favorites songs, so I sang also so loudly my voice started to hurt haha, it was worth it tho! This was also one of my favorite moments of the concert. After This is War was almost ended the big ballons came down and everyone began to hit them around. This is War was followed by taking some fans on the stage and talking to them after that Search and Destroy, Do or Die, Dangerous Night began to play, through Dangerous Night someone didn't feel well and Jared saw that, he told the people to make a way for her and after that he continued the song. The kill came after Dangerous Night witch is also one of my favorites and I was happy he sang it! The last time I saw them, he didn't. Everyone started to sing as loud as they could to sing along. They continued with Stay witch is a cover of Rihanna. Then Jared said: ''This is a song about coming home and I just wanted to say, thanks for giving us a other home to came too. Amsterdam, Holland we love you guys, Thank you!'' He said this through the beginning of City of Angels. City of Angels is another favorite of mine, it really speaks to me and that's what I love about that song so much. Night of The Hunter and Rider witch was a song on one has heard before because it was one of the new album, witch wasn't released yet. Everyone was quiet and this would have been the end of the concert but we are the echelon! So we yelled and within a few minutes they came back with more! Like Conquistador and Walk on Water but before them 3FM took the stage for a few moments to say who has won a guitar contest. The winners where aloud to rock with Jared for a few minutes. Eloi from Kensington sang a few words with Jared from the song Walk on Water.

I met my Echelon friends!
So since 2013 I was in a group with a few Holland fans of the rock band. I have had met 2 of them but never all 6 of them. At the beginning of the concert I had seen three of them but because of them standing even closer to the stage, we didn't really meet, we just waved. After the concert has ended we waited on each other outside the concert hall. I've met 4 of them now, sadly enough 2 of them had to leave already but next time we sure will meet! I loved meeting you guys, it was a lot of fun even though it was kinda shortly.
The new album
So everyone pretty much knows now that their new album is out and about! So please support them by paying their new album witch is already
the highest charting album ever on Billboard 200!
